Ogle Hall is a historic landmark and popular wedding venue in Annapolis, MD. Construction on this brick mansion began in 1739, and it served as the home of Maryland’s governor Samuel Ogle. The historic home is now owned by the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, and it is often used for events like weddings.

Historic London Town & Gardens is considered a “lost” colonial town still intact on the South River. London Town was a tobacco port started in 1683, and today a few buildings still stand, including a museum that holds the history of London Town. Whitehall is another former colonial home and current wedding venue in Annapolis. This venue sits on the waterfront of Whitehall Bay, and the grounds include 135 acres of gorgeous fields. Whitehall is actually the first National Historic Landmark in the state of Maryland! 

Whitehall is available as an outdoor venue only to preserve the history of the home, which contains museum quality artwork and antiques. The wedding party can enter the home, however, for unique wedding photos. This venue can accommodate over 600 guests, with parking for 300 cars. While it’s an expensive wedding venue, it’s a unique experience, as only 12 weddings are allowed annually.

The William Paca House and Garden is another historic Annapolis wedding venue. This venue is a five-part Georgian mansion built in the 1760s by William Paca, one of the four Maryland men to sign the Declaration of Independence. The mansion has since been restored as a National Historic Landmark, and it’s a sought after wedding venue!

The Paca House has plenty of picturesque landscapes and backdrops for your wedding day. Couples often host their ceremonies in front of the brick summer house, deep in the gardens, or in front of the pond. Celebrate on the terrace while guests explore the gardens! Chart House was formerly a historic boat house, but has since been converted to a restaurant and event space. It’s large, waterfront dining room has proven to be the perfect venue for wedding receptions. Just a short walk from Annapolis’ best shopping and cultural stops, guests at Chart House can enjoy views of the harbor and the U.S. Naval Academy. 

Rent out the full restaurant and you can fit up to 250 guests in Chart House’s dining room, with huge windows overlooking the harbor. There are also smaller spaces for weddings up to 125 guests or 70 guests. The food is included in wedding packages, so you can enjoy Chart House’s fresh seafood, juicy steaks, and more!
