Designed by the creator of the Grand Canyon’s El Tovar Hotel, Charles Whittlesey, the Riordan residence at the Riordan Mansion State Historic Park was built in 1904.

This rustic venue is a state treasure in which the exterior of log-slab siding, volcanic stone arches, and hand-split wooden shingles display this history of the logging city. Along with the vintage architecture, the surrounding forests of luscious green make for the picture-perfect wedding day. 

To rent the venue, the fee is $100 per hour with a maximum of eight hours of utilization. You will have multiple spaces to choose from such as the outdoor area of Veranda and the indoor space of the West House Museum. Also, you will be allowed to choose any catering option of your choice as well as bring alcohol, such as beer and wine, to the venue.

In west Flagstaff, Thornager’s on Kiltie Lane is a rustic venue that is nestled in the forest of pine trees. Thornager’s can sit up to 120 guests but can expand the capacity during the warmer seasons for outside weddings. You will have the option of an indoor wedding in the hardwood flooring of the venue or an outdoor option of a patio topped with a beautiful canopy.

With the help of the venue’s staff, you can customize your wedding decor and even include a bar in your reception.
