Historic Rock Ford, also known as the General Edward Hand House, is the former home of Edward Hand, who was adjutant general to George Washington during the American Revolution. This 1794 Georgian-style mansion is surrounded by Lancaster County Central Park and overlooks the Conestoga River, which makes it the perfect backdrop for outdoor or garden weddings. 

The property also comes with a historic barn large enough to seat up to 110 guests. You can also set up a large tent on their lawn if you wish to invite more guests.

Stevens School Ballroom is absolutely stunning. With Italian Renaissance, beaux-arts, and Greek Classical architectural touches, this unique venue was once an all-girls school. The place was designed by C. Emlen Urban in 1905, who was the leading architect in Lancaster from the late 19th century to the early 20th century.

This gorgeous 5,000 square foot venue has plenty of space for ceremonies or receptions. This fabulous ballroom with high ceilings is fully heated and air conditioned. It has a capacity of 300 or more people.

After this historic estate was renovated and opened in 2007, the inn received a preservation award from the Historical Society. This 1800s farm has preserved its classic architecture and masonry work, which adds a rustic charm to couples’ wedding receptions and ceremonies. Its rustic elements include natural stone and wood features and exposed ceiling beams. 

They have plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for you to choose from, including a courtyard, a hay barn, a barn hall, and stables. The upper and lower levels of the barn hall can accommodate up to 200 guests. However, the lower level of the barn which is the stables is usually used for cocktail hours. All the outdoor spaces and the climate-controlled hay barn can also accommodate up to 200 guests. 

Catering, day-of coordinator, and personal attendants for the bride, groom, and family are also provided for your big day.

Once home to Zimmerman’s eatery, this building has a rich history as it dates back to the mid-1800s. The Yorgos restaurant began in 1989 when George Katsaros became its new owner. The Yorgos restaurant is a great choice for small or intimate wedding receptions. It serves Greek food, so if you’re planning a traditional Greek wedding this might be the perfect venue for you!

Yorgos Restaurant & Lounge has two beautiful venue options with a built-in bar: the Kefi room and Little Mykonos room with a rooftop terrace.
